Your 10 Days, Stage by Stage
This is a typical outline. Your instructor adjusts the pace, so a confident learner may reach traffic sooner while a cautious learner spends longer on control.
- Get to know the car. Seat and mirror setup, pedals, steering grip, gears or selector, indicators and wipers, then first slow movements on a quiet stretch.
- Starting, stopping, steering. Moving off smoothly, braking in a straight line, left and right turns, and keeping a safe position on the road.
- Into light traffic. Junctions, giving way, mirror checks before every change, and reading what other drivers are about to do.
- Parking and reversing. Straight reversing, parking beside the road and in tighter spaces, three-point turns and moving off on gentle slopes.
- Putting it together. Longer drives through mixed traffic, a few steeper sections, and honest feedback on what to keep practising.

Manual or Automatic on the Basic Course
The fee is the same either way, so choose based on the car you will actually drive. If your family car has a clutch, learn manual. Ten days is enough for many people to get comfortable with clutch control, but it can feel tight for someone who has never touched a clutch before. In that case, consider spending a little longer with us or moving up to the 20-day plan.
